It’s Like a Spa Day for Your Garage Door (But with Wrenches)

My Guy Annual Service Call

Your garage door does a lot for you. It opens and closes thousands of times a year, quietly doing its job. It keeps your family safe, your car dry, and your home looking sharp. But like anything mechanical, it needs a little care to keep performing like a champ.

That’s where we come in.

Once a year, My Guy gives your entire garage door system a full check-up, lubrication where it counts, and a tune-up to keep everything running smooth, safe, and quiet.

What’s in a My Guy Service Call?

This isn’t a swift flashlight-and-fingerprint job. It’s a full 24-point safety inspection and precision tune-up. We check everything. We fix what needs fixing. We leave nothing loose, noisy, or unsafe.

The Workhorses:

Springs – They lift the door. If they’re weak, you’re stuck.
Cables – Work with the springs to lift and lower the door safely.
Rollers – Help your door glide quietly along the track.
Bearings and Bearing Plates – Reduce friction and keep the system aligned.
Drums – Wind the cables evenly so your door lifts straight.
Torsion Rod – Carries the tension that makes the lift possible.

The Smart Stuff:

Circuit Board – The brain of your opener. We make sure it’s working right.
Gear and Sprocket – No movement happens without these.
Wall Button and Keypad – Quick tests to ensure full function.

The Safety Essentials:

Safety Eyes – Keep your family safe. If something’s in the way, the door should stop. We test to be sure.
Open and Close Force Limits – If your door is pushing too hard, something will break. We fix that before it happens.

The Structural Strength:

Panels – We check for damage, cracks, or separation.
Hinges and Struts – These keep your door strong and flexible.
Bottom Brackets – Anchor the lift system. Failure here can be dangerous.
Opener Bracket – Keeps everything connected and operating smoothly.

The Weather Guard:

Bottom Seal – Keeps out bugs, water, and drafts.
Weather Trim – Seals the top and sides of the door to improve energy efficiency.
Tracks (Vertical and Horizontal) – Must be aligned and free of debris or damage.
