1. Licensing

My Guy Garage Door Repair, LLC holds Utah Division of Professional Licensing (DOPL) contractor license 13707868-5501, classification S220. You can verify it on the DOPL license lookup.

2. Using the website

You must be at least 18 years old to book service through the website. Please give us accurate contact and address information so we can reach you and your home. Do not misuse the website, including by trying to disrupt it, access it without permission, or upload harmful code.

  • We give you a price before work starts. If we find something during the job that changes the scope, we explain it and get your approval before doing the additional work.
  • Prices shown on the website are general information and may change. Your written estimate or invoice controls the price of your job.

4. Scheduling

Service is subject to technician availability in your area. Arrival windows are estimates, and we will let you know if we are running late. Please make sure someone 18 or older can give us access to the garage at the scheduled time.

5. Payment and financing

Payment is due when the work is completed unless you have agreed to other terms in writing. Financing, when offered, is provided by a third party lender, requires approval, and is governed by the lender’s own terms.

6. Warranties

Warranty terms for our parts and labor are stated on your written estimate or invoice. Manufacturer warranties on doors, openers, and parts are provided by the manufacturer under its own terms. Warranties do not cover damage from misuse, accidents, vehicle impact, severe weather, or repairs or alterations made by others.

7. Safety

Garage door springs and cables are under high tension. If a spring or cable is broken, do not operate the door or try to lift it, and keep people and vehicles clear until it is repaired. We are not responsible for injury or damage caused by operating a door we have advised is unsafe.

8. Text messages

If you agree to receive text messages, we may text you about your inquiry, appointments, arrival times, estimates, invoices, and service follow ups. Message frequency varies. 9. Reviews and content you send us

If you send us photos, reviews, or feedback, you allow us to use them to respond to you and, for reviews you have posted publicly, to display them on our website. We will not publish your full name or address without your permission.
